Vessel: you are not the source

Clay pot. That is the word. Not a trophy, not a vault, a common container whose entire value is what somebody put inside it.

People hear that as a demotion. It is a relief. A vessel is not responsible for producing the treasure. It is responsible for being clean, being available, and not cracking under pressure it was never meant to carry alone.

It also settles the credit question permanently. When something good comes out of your life, the excellence was never sourced in you. That truth kills both pride and the exhaustion that comes from pretending to be the source.

So carry it clean. Deal with what leaks. Stay available. And when someone reads VESSEL across your chest, let it mean what it means: the power belongs to God, and you are just glad to be holding it.
